Chris Mooney is probably best known for an off-beat photograph he took while on assignment in Australia shooting the first World Rugby Cup for the catalog company Lands' End.
The editor at Lands' End was so impressed that he wrote on the cover “This Is No Trick Photo! Ace photographer Chris Mooney really did get a kangaroo to model the Lands' End Jersey".
Just north of downtown Tucson, Chris operates a 5500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art studio with business associate and fellow photographer Balfour Walker.
Chris is the proud father of two children. His son, Scott is a Solar Lab technician with Prizim Solar corporation. And his daughter, Laurel, home coming queen and 2009 class president at Mountain View High School. Triathlons and training take up most of his free time. Along with a handful of friends Chris formed Team Moon-E, a local triathlon team, that trains and competes in local races.
